No. 12
I bought a cheap green dress in Primark and tried to dye it for part of my Halloween outfit. I thought I would also have a go at a yellow dress I have as it’s a bit bright for the winter but I like the shape. One worked out well, the other not so much!
Here’s the before…

TBC….
No. 45
So I had a go at my own chicken noodle soup. It may be one to add to the recipe book @ No. 43.

No. 55
Salman Rushdie – I’ve heard the name, not sure I recognise the face, how sheltered a life I lead! Anyhoo, according to wikipedia:
Sir Ahmed Salman Rushdie (born 19 June 1947) is a British Indian novelist and essayist. He achieved fame with his second novel, Midnight’s Children (1981), which won the Booker Prize in 1981. Much of his early fiction is set on the Indian subcontinent. His style is often classified as magical realism mixed with historical fiction, and a dominant theme of his work is the story of the many connections, disruptions and migrations between the Eastern and Western world.
His fourth novel, The Satanic Verses (1988), was the center of The Satanic Verses controversy, with protests from Muslims in several countries. Some of the protests were violent, with Rushdie facing death threats and a fatwā issued by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the Supreme Leader of Iran, in February 1989.
He was appointed a Knight Bachelor for “services to literature” in June 2007,[1]. He holds the rank Commandeur in the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres of France. He began a five-year term as Distinguished Writer in Residence at Emory University in 2007.[2] In May 2008 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters. His latest novel is The Enchantress of Florence, published in June 2008.

I’ve been pretty ill this last week – might even had had flu but have some antibiotics now so hopefully I’m well on the mend.
No. 8
I had a little play about with make up for Halloween and the outfit will probably include No. 33 too. I’m scared I look a bit silly but hopefully when I have my dress finished I will feel better about it – I am supposed to look a bit silly right?

No. 29
I have lost 4lbs (as of last Friday) so am on track though the sickness has probably helped. I am trying to be super good this week to get another pound or two off by this Friday.
No. 45
I tried Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup from Yoko and it was quite the success! I’m going to attempt my own version this evening hopefully. Yums.
No. 77
We’re planning to take our niece and nephew to the Zoo just before Christmas to meet Santa. We’ve never taken them anywhere before or been “in charge” of them so it’s quite exciting! I will hopefully get our places booked in the next couple of days. Ho ho ho…
No. 98
I had my second ever smear test on Friday and will hopefully get the results in the next couple of weeks.
No. 99
I sold a blouse, two dresses and pair of unworn shoes (No. 41 and see photo below) on Ebay which I was really pleased about (especially as 2 of the items sold for more than I paid for them!!). I also sold some tickets on Gumtree so I guess they don’t count – I should have putting “losing Gumtree virginity” on my list!)

Today is a good day. I’ve been quite busy but am meeting friends for a catch up later and then have a very relaxing/lazy weekend planned. I hope all other 101ers are still enjoying it.
No. 8
My fancy dress costume arrived!!!! The wig is a tad much I fear but the rest looks good (from what I could tell from trying it on in the office. Only another couple of accessories (and the nerve to wear it in public!) to find and I’m ready!
No. 92
I bought this card today and am going to write it and send it to her – provided I can find her exact address. Hopefully she will receive it as she used to have a less than honest postman/woman.

No. 99
I am listing bits and bobs on eBay today – so far I have a pair of shoes and a dress, I am hoping to get another few bits of clothes on by the end of the day and will tick them off my list when/if anything sells as most of them are BIN/BO rather than auction as I seem to sell too many things very cheap on the no reserve auctions. If not, they will go to auction heaven…
