Hey kittens. Not much happening with me other than I’m a bit down with one thing and another but am still trying to keep this going
No. 29
This just isn’t going well so I officially started the “diet” last Monday. I have a new mini target – T10.5. My mission is to lose enough weight to be 10.5 stone which means losing more weigh than I’d have hoped actually. It wasn’t that long ago I weighed 10.5 stone. Anyhoo, first weigh in yesterday I lost 1 pound. Not great but then my weight lags a bit so I could have been facing a gain considering how much I had eaten up until last Monday!
No. 33
At the risk of this turning into a false eyelash blog I have been playing about with them again and having some fun with these 99p ones from B&M. They aren’t the best quality and are a bit fiddly but not bad in times of recession!

No. 54
I withdrew my application for this. Circumstances mean it wasn’t practical and I needed the money for bills and got the refund just in time. Maybe next year?
No. 99
The selling on eBay has went brilliantly.
I have sold:
4 – A blouse/2dresses/a pair of unworn shoes (already noted)
1 unworn Halloween wig
1 pair unworn jeans
4 pairs of tights
2 faulty phones
1 pair of unworn grey platform shoes
2 primark dresses (1 unworn)
2 men’s boots unworn
1 KG boots unworn
1 men’s shirt
1 DP dress unworn
1 pair men’s wedding socks unworn
Which has raised [drum rolllllllllllllllllll] over £500. Unfortunately bills have had to be paid with it and I haven’t been able to treat myself or anything but needs must and at least I’m a bit more free of the clutter!
Task done (and I will continue decluttering this way!)
Day 19 – Busy, busy

I’ve had quite a busy few days list wise
No. 54
I sent off my application yesterday and now have 9 days left to send in the money and my module transript! Whether I sit the exam or not I’m still not sure but I can get a refund if I change my mind before it. Time will tell!
No. 72
I forgot that last week I entered the GMTV win £100k competition. I did it 5 times online (eager, moi?) but fear I haven’t won. Only 4 more to go!!
No. 8
I have ordered my fancy dress outfit for Halloween… more details to follow when it arrives/if it fits etc
No. 29
The biggie (quite literally weep). I’ve put on another pound or 2 since my holidays so really need to get a move on with this one. I am hoping to be dressed up in relation to No. 8 on 31st October which gives me about 4 weeks to go until then so I am setting a mini target of about 8 pounds weightloss for then (let’s call it No. 29a). I just need to eat less crap and move more often!

After a nice weekend, with really only one argument, a tough Monday night – I’m back!
No. 45
Last night I tried “keema naan” from a local Indian takeaway. I got it to share as well as a starter and main course and usually side order (greedy, moi?!) and it was lovely – just normal naan with a spicy mince filling – yums!! Luckily thanks to my greed we have lots of left overs so will reheat the remains evening for dinner. I will try to remember to take a photo the next time
No. 54
I have discovered it will cost £25 to get a copy of my module transcript from university so intend giving the house another search this evening as the application fee on its own will be hard to cobble together as well as this! I am feeling a bit anxious about whether or not to apply this year or not – things are so up in the air with the rest of my life that this could be one stress too many… However if I change my mind before the exam I can get a refund of the application fee so will probably apply anyway and then reassess things down the line.

Day 4 was a bit hectic with work and the open day thingy for No. 54. Today I have taken a little piccie of myself and added it to the “about me” section (it took a bit of trial and error in working out how to get it up though). Excuse the quality, I only have my phone with me for photo taking! Oh and my hair might be a bit frazzled looking as I dyed it before work this morning.

I went to the talk about applying and got some more information. There is a discount in the application fee if I apply before the end of the month. It was weird being back in a uni environment and everyone looks so young (and clever) and “in the loop”. I am wary of applying and having the exam looming over me before Christmas but hopefully over the next week will gather all the bits and bobs I need and at least have everything prepared to go in for the discount. Then all I need to do is pass the exam, find a “master” and win the lottery and I might have a chance of going full steam ahead…
No. 35
This is a bit of a weird one I guess. I have always been very much a silver/white gold/platinum kind of girl but recently rediscovered a liking for gold jewellery (in my very much younger days I loved my mum’s gold jewellery and had some cheapy bits myself). I have some cute necklaces from the likes of Urban Outfitters in gold which I love but think it’s time to buy a “real” gold necklace – nothing too fancy, just 9ct or whatever.
I have found somewhere which sells necklaces a bit like Becky’s “Becky” one from Corrie (and of course like Carrie SATC) with your name on it (nicer font etc though) which I think is quite cool in a sort of… chavvy-chic (?) way but am thinking of getting it with a word rather than my actual name… Not 100% sure yet though – what do you think?

I have a few significant words in mind which I’m toying with and will reveal a shortlist soon so your thoughts on the initial idea would be good…

There’s nothing like addressing a couple of potentially life changing tasks for day 3 is there?
No. 29
I have always had a weight “problem”. For as long as I can remember I’ve had issues with my weight, feeling chubby and fat – even at primary school and I find this really sad. If one day I have children I don’t want to pass my hang ups onto them so would really like to be comfortable with my image. I was 9 stone something when I met my husband. My weight has yo yoed over the years and I was creeping up to almost 13 stone at one stage. I think in all honesty I am actually quite happy with how I am just now, even half a stone lighter would be nice. Overall I would like to tone up more and be more of a 10/12 than 12/14/sometimes 16. Ideally I would like to get to 9 stone something, maybe just one last time.
This would get me about half a stone under my wedding weight and just over a stone under my current weight. I’ve hit a bit of a barrier loss wise following losing just over a stone in the earlier half of this year but as this was caused mainly by stress and anxiety I’m hoping this last stone or so can be lost by other means!
I’ve put on 3lbs or 4lbs on holiday so my mini target would be to lose a couple of pounds to get into 10 stone…something by say, Monday 21st September. In the run up to my holiday I shifted a couple of pounds using the Wii and the EA Sports Active 30 day challenge so think it’s probably time I dusted it off again [groan].
No. 54
There are open days related to this tomorrow and the next day (I think – must check the website!) and I am intending going along tomorrow afternoon to see if it is something I definitely want to apply for. I’m feeling a bit apprehensive already but I think it’s time I stopped thinking about it and actually did something towards making my decision about it either way. Wish me luck!!
