Day 38 – Getting Better

I’ve been pretty ill this last week – might even had had flu but have some antibiotics now so hopefully I’m well on the mend.
No. 8
I had a little play about with make up for Halloween and the outfit will probably include No. 33 too. I’m scared I look a bit silly but hopefully when I have my dress finished I will feel better about it – I am supposed to look a bit silly right?
No. 29
I have lost 4lbs (as of last Friday) so am on track though the sickness has probably helped. I am trying to be super good this week to get another pound or two off by this Friday.
No. 45
I tried Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup from Yoko and it was quite the success! I’m going to attempt my own version this evening hopefully. Yums.
No. 77
We’re planning to take our niece and nephew to the Zoo just before Christmas to meet Santa. We’ve never taken them anywhere before or been “in charge” of them so it’s quite exciting! I will hopefully get our places booked in the next couple of days. Ho ho ho…
No. 98
I had my second ever smear test on Friday and will hopefully get the results in the next couple of weeks.
No. 99
I sold a blouse, two dresses and pair of unworn shoes (No. 41 and see photo below) on Ebay which I was really pleased about (especially as 2 of the items sold for more than I paid for them!!). I also sold some tickets on Gumtree so I guess they don’t count – I should have putting “losing Gumtree virginity” on my list!)

No. 33
On Saturday I nearly wore false eyelashes for a night out but realised they look a bit much with my big fringe so pulled them back off again. Maybe next time I’ll be brave enough to expose my forehead and sweep my fringe away to get the eyelashes to work…
No. 38
I had a work “roadshow” on Wednesday so wore my red Mary Jane Manolo Blahniks with black opaque tights and red dress from “F&F at House of T”, ok my Florence & Fred dress from Tesco. Shame the zip on my dress proved a bit temperamental but at least that’s one work related designer shoe wearing task done!
No. 48
I was out on Saturday for a friend’s Birthday and had a red aftershock! It wasn’t as bad as I remembered but I do blame it on me falling at the end of the night (well it was either it, the numerous vodkas and/or random other shots, the wet wooden stairs…). Anyway, it was a good night overall but I am now sporting a very bruised leg. Woe is me.
Oh and I also believe there is photographic evidence of me and said red aftershock taken on a friend’s phone (don’t think I’m not taking this mission seriously!!) - not sure if I want to see it myself never mind show it here though lol.

Booked for my smear last week though given my GP’s popularity my appointment isn’t until near the end of October! Hopefully I remember to go.
